translingua was originally set up by Brigitte Messner in 1981. From the word go she was determined to realise her vision of providing excellent translation and interpreting services that are professionally tailored to the personal requirements of individual customers. Gradually, the company took on new areas of business and we now act as an interface between languages and graphics.
Even as the digital age was just dawning, translingua was always available to fulfil every customer need and wish even more quickly and efficiently thanks to its own intranet. The real foundation for today’s modern company, however, was laid with a software administration system which was designed in-house and launched in 1994. We always use state-of-the-art technology and what’s more, we know how to use it effectively.
Though despite our success, we have never lost sight of our original vision. This means we constantly strive to raise our levels of quality and versatility in response to changing requirements. Our approach is also reflected in the pleasant atmosphere of our offices: by combining form and function in our work environment, we add zest to interesting, multicultural flair.
The third place translingua achieved in Austria’s “Corporate Trio of 2002” awards was official recognition that the company is on the right path thanks to its sophisticated expertise, high quality standards and customer focus.
