Social engagement is very important to us. For many years now Frau Dr. Brigitte Meßner, managing director of translingua, has been an active member of the Soroptimist International Club Graz. We are delighted to once again inform you of a forthcoming highlight hosted by this socially engaged club.
This year, for the 7th time, the traditional Soroptimist Benefit Concert will take place in Graz's Franziskanerkirche.

Vocal and instrumental performance students from Graz's University of Music and Performing Arts are offering sound experiences from the wonderful world of Slavic music.

Proceeds will go towards helping talented young singers who are financially disadvantaged because they come from economically poor countries. One of the Soroptimists' first protégés was Natalia Ushakova who has now achieved world-star status. The concert proceeds, however, don't just go towards supporting vocal performance students, a percentage will also go to Rosalie Women's Refugee, a project run by the Vinzenz charitable organisation, and to the Franziskanerkirche.
