TERMINOLOGY
The creation and maintenance of customised terminology banks plays an increasingly important role in the translation and documentation process. For major repeat orders we develop customised glossaries or incorporate existing ones into our work. The result is text consistency, uniformity of style, plus enhanced quality and increased productivity.
In doing so, we make use of technology in the form of translation tools. These help us to carry out our terminological work. They also enable us to process Word, PowerPoint and Excel files directly.
Such tools, however, only occupy a supporting role here at translingua. They should not be confused with machine translations, which cannot replace the services of the professional translator.
