PLACEMENTS
For 20 years we have been offering language students, whose courses require them to spend time abroad, the opportunity of a work placement with us whereby they can gain comprehensive insight into the way in which translating and interpreting operate on a practical, professional level here at translingua.
Many of these former students are still in contact with us today. A surprisingly high number of them have gone on to work for us as freelance translators and interpreters.
We guarantee professional levels of care, supervision and guidance in our training course to ensure that future language experts acquire the skills they need for a career in translating and interpreting. These include:
translation and text analysis skills, research aptitude, linguistic competence and cultural awareness combined with work techniques and technology.
